A Hogs and Kisses level in which some balloons hold up parts of a structure
Balloons are objects used by the Bad Piggies to hold pigs and objects in mid-air. Once destroyed, the supported object or pig will drop. Introduced in Angry Birds, they would later reappear in Seasons and Rio. After that, they would appear in Angry Birds 2 as different shapes.

Angry Birds / Angry Birds Seasons / Angry Birds Rio[]
Balloons are seen prominently in Angry Birds, first appearing in Danger Above 6-13. They are the weakest objects in the game, and can be popped by any bird or falling block. Balloons come in two different shapes, ovular and in the shape of a pig, as well as several different colors. The balloons in Angry Birds lack any ropes to tie with the objects, but can still hold objects and pigs in mid-air regardless.
They are also seen in their respective episodes Bad Piggies and Red's Mighty Feathers, where they can be tied with ropes, metal cables or black wire-like lines. They are similarly popped on impact with most objects, as are other balloons; there is also a variant made of purple rubber, as well as the standard red balloon in Bad Piggies.
Balloons' depiction in Angry Birds remains identical in Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio. Only in Angry Birds Rio and the Angry Birds episode, Birdday Party, if the player cuts the rope or stick holding the balloon, it will fly away. They also seen in the 2012 spin-off Bad Piggies.

Ross tied a red balloon
In Bad Piggies, red balloons are used as items for Ross to use. When a level starts balloons will automatically attach themselves to any solid object below it, lifting it upwards depending on the object's weight. Balloons also come in batches of two and three, all attaching to one object per batch.
Angry Birds 2[]
In Angry Birds 2, taller variations of balloons appear in select levels.
