	~ Nick Holland's most famous quote as he denounces his girlfriend Cindy Beale after discovering her true colors and the fact that she is guilty for attempting to have her husband Ian Beale murdered back in October 1996.

Nick Holland is a fictional character and supporting antagonist of the British soap opera EastEnders. He merely appeared as a supporting antagonist in 1997 and a major antagonist in 1998.

In his storyline, Holland is the new fiance of established villainess Cindy Beale during her conflict with estranged husband Ian Beale over the custody of their children. At first Holland helped Cindy win custody of her children, but later turned on her when she is arrested for attempting to have Ian murdered back in October 1996 - thus discovering Cindy's true colors in the process.

He was portrayed by Dominic Taylor.

Biography[]

Nick Holland was known to be a highly decorated solicitor who established his status in Italy at somepoint prior to 1997.

In 1997, Holland met a woman named Cindy Beale and they had a relationship. Soon the pair got engaged and Cindy became pregnant with his soon-to-be-daughter. He later goes with her to Albert Square in Walford, a fictional borough in East London from England, when she plans to take custody of her children from her estranged former husband Ian Beale. By the time Cindy has returned to the square, Ian finds out about her relationship with Holland and realizes that she is using him to get custody of the children.

In 1998, Ian meets Holland for a private dinner and attempts to warn him about Cindy's true colors. He even points out the amount of times Cindy had betrayed their marriage, but Holland refuses and he instead mocks Ian after finding out that he requested his stepfather Phil Mitchell and his brother Grant Mitchell to come along as backup in case something went wrong. For the next few weeks Holland collaborated with Cindy's plan to take custody of her children and even provoked Ian into punching him in front of everyone at The Queen Victoria public house.

Soon enough Cindy wins custody of the children, but is later arrested for having Ian shot back in October 1996. That is when Holland realizes the truth about Cindy and he breaks up with her before leaving the country while she is left in prison for her crimes; Cindy later apparently died giving birth to her and Holland's baby named Cindy Jr. in honour of her mother, but Holland never met his daughter in the end.
