Damon "Harry" Harris is a fictional character and supporting antagonist in the ITV British soap opera Emmerdale. He appeared as a major antagonist in 2023 from August 7th to Boxing Day that year before later serving as an overarching antagonist in 2024.
He was portrayed by Robert Black.
Biography[]
Damon was first introduced to established character Nate Robinson as “Harry”, an associate of businessman Corey Sanderson, the latter of whom tasked Nate with being a chauffeur for Damon. But Corey advised Nate not to chit-chat, not to use the satnav and to make sure he opens the car door for Damon. In the end, Damon said Nate did fine, before paying Nate and telling him and Corey that he will see them around before leaving.
Damon would return to the show in a storyline which revealed him to be the father of Chloe Harris, the ex-girlfriend of Mackenzie Boyd, who Damon decided to kidnap with the intention of killing him after finding out Mackenzie had left Chloe to die in the car accident he and Charity Dingle had been involved in. On Christmas Day 2023, Harry was accidentally shot dead by Charity after she found out where Damon had been holding Mackenzie and seeing that he was about to shoot him.
