Biography[]
Morflak was an Uruk-Hai berserker whom lived in Isengard. He marched with his kin to Helms Deep under command of Mog.
During the battle for Helms Deep, Uruk-hai troops found that they could not breach the wall of the fortress. As a result, Mog instructed the Uruks to use explosives. 4 Uruk-Hai loaded two explosives in a cavern under the wall. Suddenly, Morflak came charging with a torch in his hand, as the Uruks cheered for him, intent on charging into explosives with the torch to ignite them.
Aragorn, having noticed Morflak charging, ordered Legolas to shoot him down with his bow. The first arrow pierces his right shoulder. Not downed, Morflak was shot in the opposite shoulder. After stumbling, Morflak continued on and dived into the explosives. This set off the explosives, causing the wall to collapse, as well as killing Morflak and several others, and allowing the Uruk-hai troops to enter.
