The Hades Beastman King of Hell Samurai Shichijuurou is the minor antagonist of Mahou Sentai Magiranger, appearing in Episode 27 as the primary antagonist. He is a member of the Four Kings of Hell and wields a blade that possesses the ability to sever the people's bonds and turn the best of friends and family members into hated enemies. He also constantly drinks sake from his gourd claiming it was the source of his powers. He and his comrades were one of the most powerful servants of N Ma and fought the Heavenly Saints during the Magic War. The Kings were destroyed by the Heavenly Saints during the great war, but were revived by Meemy during the present days to serve N Ma and help him defeat and destroy the Magirangers. Shichijuurou was the first of the Kings of Hell to fight the Magirangers. Despite being the weakest of the Kings of Hell, he is still a formidable fighter, wielding sword in battle and is capable of fighting and outmatching all six Magirangers.

Background[]
Four Kings of Hell were once one of the most powerful servants of N Ma and fought in the magic war. Samurai fought the Heavenly Saints and served N Ma, together with his comrades Neries, Zee and Bullrates. It was mentioned that they once fought and almost killed Blagel during the war. However, they were all destroyed by the Heavenly Saints.
Stage 27: Our Bonds[]
In the Episode 27, the Kings were revived by Meemy and Meemy ordered them to do his bidding and serve N Ma. Samurai emerged from afterlife along with Neries, Zee and Bullrates. The Kings agreed to help Meemy defeat and destroy the Magirangers and conquer the Surface World. Once being revived, Shichijuurou bumped into Wolzard, and demanded the Wolf Knight to apologize for bumping into him, despite he was the one who bumped into Wolzard. When Wolzard refused to apologize, Samurai tried to attack him with his sword, but the Wolf Knight easily blocked his hit. They were evenly matched and Shichijuurou decided to leave the Wolf Knight and drank water from his jug.
Samurai later attacked the Earth and attacked Tokyo. Once he appeared, he slashed a building in half. He encountered the Magirangers and fought the six heroes. During the battle, he used his ability to sever the family bonds of the siblings and turn them into the hated enemies, turning them against each other. Everyone were enchanted by Shichijuurou's spell, except Hikaru and Makito. Samurai drank from his jug, out of sake and retreated, while Hikaru and Makito were shocked to what happened to the siblings. The four siblings refused to return to home and splitted away, going to different places.
Later, at night, Samurai was drinking from his jug and then Vancuria appeared and used her wolzardphone to make sake into Samurai's jug. Bullrates questioned him when would Samurai finish his assignment of destroying the Magirangers and helping their master N Ma. Samurai answered that he would accomplish his mission and help their master N Ma when the time would come and it would be soon. Bullrates then asked Samurai why did he always drink from his jug. Samurai says drinking gives him his power. Samurai also proposed Bullrates to drink, but Blurates said he didn't trust those who drink sake. The samurai called him a stick in the mud.
Makito becomes depressed at how his siblings refused to come home, until his door bell rings. Makito, believing that his siblings came back, happily opens the door, only to realize that his siblings have all decided to move out of the house, since the moving company came and moved all their stuff away. Makito once again becomes depressed until he gets happy when Kai comes back. However, Kai coldly calls Makito "Mr. Green" and pushes him away. He then explains that he could not get a house of his own because he was still a high schooler. He then tells Makito not to come to his room without permission before he locks the door. Hikaru decided to go visit the other siblings in Makito's stead.
Hikaru tried to talk to Tsubasa, Urara, and Houka, and convince them to come home, but all three of them refused. Hikaru told Makito that they still had to fight Infershia and Makito answered that only together they could defeat Infershia. Makito told Hikaru that he had a plan of breaking Samurai's curse.
Makoto called his siblings near the river and cooked shish kabobs for them. The siblings refused to eat, but Makito still stayed happy and showed them album with pictures of them as a kids ten years ago. Meanwhile, Hikaru watched them from the tree. The siblinhs still refused to listen to Makito and threw the shish kabobs down and so Hikaru urged Makito go home. However, then Shichijuurou appeared and grew big and so the Magirangers became Majins and fought him.
Samurai easily defeated the four Majins, but then Hikaru and Makito arrived as Travelion and Taurus and Makito destroyed Shichijuurou with his special attack. However, his sword shrunk.
Magirangers returned to their human forms, but they weren't normal and not freed from Samurai's curse yet. Suddenly, Samurai's sword appeared and took control of Makito. Makito attacked his siblings and Hikaru and Samurai's armor appeared on Makito's body. Makito sliced their family album on the bits and burned the pictures. This caused the siblings to get reminded of Makito's words and free themselves from Samurai's curse. They screamed Makito's name and commanded Shichijuurou to give their brother back as they held the possessed Makito. Hikaru transformed and together with Smoky they destroyed Shichijuurou's katana, freeing Makito. The siblings were happy and reunited, but meanwhile Bullrates watched them from afar and collected the pieces of Samurai's sword and placed Samurai's power into his staff.
