Hades Beastman Gaston the Thief is a minor antagonist of Mahou Sentai Magiranger, serving as the secondary antagonist of the Episode 25. He was a Hades Beastman at the service of the Infershia and under the command of the Sorcery Priest Meemy, Wolzard and Vancuria.
He was voiced by Naoki Tatsuta.
Biography[]
Gaston first appeared in the city, when he secretly infiltrated Tokyo and robbed multiple people of their things, such as little dog. When Kai was together with his girlfriend Yuka, Gaston passed the MagiRed and stole the boy's courage. Kai then noticed that his courage was stolen and later when Kai met with his friends and comrades, talking woth them about the stolen things, Gaston appeared and fought the wizards. During the battle, Gaston tried to kill Kai, but Hikaru saved his friend, but at the cost of his MagiTicket, that allowed MagiShine to control Travelion. Gaston stole the magic ticket and teleported back to Infershia, leaving the heroes to be sad from their defeat, especially Kai who was consumed by grief and couldn't force himself to fight.
Later, Gaston talked to his masters, Meemy, Wolzard and Vancuria and the villains revealed that they planned to use dynamit with the energy of the stolen things to destroy Tokyo. Wolzard placed the things into the machine and Meemy ordered Gaston to return back to the city and continue his favorite hobby, stealing.
Wolzard then took Kai's courage from Gaston and shredded it to the machine. While, Nei and Mea were terrorizing Tokyo by using Travelion, the Magirangers tried to stop the villains, but failed. Sungel tried to destroy Gaston, but the monster successfully fled away. Hikaru then fought Wolzard and Meemy and lost. Meemy stepped with his feet on his former friend's body, preparing to deliver the finishing blow. Gaston was wandering the city, preparing to blow it up with a dynamite, but Kai managed to restore his courage and easily defeated the demon, taking the dynamite, before throwing Gaston on the top of Meemy, who was fighting Hikaru and was already about to kill MagiShine. Hikaru and Kai destroyed the dynamite and retrieved the ticket to the Travelion.
Meemy realized that their plan failed and teleported back to the underworld together with Wolzard and Vancuria, leaving Gaston to fight the wizards. The young magicians formed their mechas and after the brief battle, MagiKing quickly defeated Gaston, while the Travelion Robo permanently finished the beast off.
