Gemra^{[Japanese title]} is a hovering enemy from Kirby's Return to Dream Land and its remake Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. It grants the Beam Ability when swallowed.

Gemra resembles a crystal ball with a jester hat, with the hat possessing a pair of angry eyes. When approached, Gemra will unleash a beam from its ball, and spin in a circle, similar to the way the Beam Whip is used by Beam Kirby and Waddle Doo. The attack is not too difficult to avoid, making this enemy rather easy to defeat. When hit, Gemra's hat will briefly pop off of the ball to accentuate its recoil.

In Kirby's Return to Dream Land and its remake, Gemra is a relatively uncommon enemy, making its first appearance in the White Wafers level. Gemra can be found in the following levels and stages:

Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition[edit]

Kirby zaps through the Gemras in his way in Magolor Race EX.

Gemra returns in the New Challenge Stages mode of Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition, where it acts identically to its previous appearance. Gemra appears in Wing Challenge, Magolor Race 2, Magolor Race 3, and Magolor Race EX.
