- Link Fiber can be equipped on Kubrows, Kavats, MOAs, and Hounds, but not on Sentinels.
- Link Fiber cannot be equipped simultaneously with
Metal Fiber. - Link Fiber uses the player's maximum Armor as the base, which means using Mods like Umbral Fiber (with full set bonus), Armored Agility, Gladiator Aegis, Saxum Carapace, Jugulus Carapace, Carnis Carapace, Stand United (with Coaction Drift) and Arcanes like
Arcane Ultimatum, 
Arcane Guardian and 
Arcane Tanker can further increase a companion's maximum armor.
- With Link Fiber on any Beast companion, a maximum armor value of 4,694.26 (a 93.99% damage reduction) can be achieved using the above armor mods with
Valkyr Prime.

- A companion can attain an even higher maximum armor value of over 5000 if the player chooses to use
Chroma with a high power strength and the usage of 
Vex Armor. Exact numbers depend on accurate power strength, armor raising mods and Arcanes. With exactly 5000 armor, this would be a 94.34% damage reduction.
