Calda Toroid

A device of undetermined function and origin. Prized by Vox Solaris and the Quills.

Earn Calda Toroids from enemies located at the Enrichment Labs in the Orb Vallis and from Scyto Raknoids. They can also be found as pick-ups in caves located around the Orb Vallis.

—In-game Description

The Calda Toroid is a rare resource that can be acquired in caves or as a rare drop from enemies near the Enrichment Labs in Orb Vallis or any Scyto Raknoid. This resource acts either as a normal pickup when dropped by enemies, or as an interactive object if found in caves.

Redeeming Calda Toroid will award 1,000 Standing 1,000 with Vox Solaris. One is also used as a sacrifice for Rank 1 - Operative and Rank 3 - Hand. It is also used as a crafting component for the Garuda and Baruuk Warframes, as well as various Operator suit, Amp parts and Hound (Companion) parts.

Gathering Tips[]

Go to Enrichment Labs. Try to get one of the enemies to put down a Reinforcement Beacon and wait until the beacon hits Alert Level 4. From this point, unlimited enemies will spawn.
- Commonly used Warframes for farming Toroids are Khora's Pilfering Strangledome, Hydroid's Pilfering Swarm, or Nekros' ( Desecrate).

Caves with Toroid spawns

Calda Toroids may be found in every cave with a Toroid spawning area. The chance to find this kind of Toroid seems to be higher around the Enrichment Labs area.
- It is possible to find several Toroids at once in a cave. Those Toroids may also be of different kinds.

Solaris United & Vox Solaris Syndicate Sacrifice Changes:

The Rank-up Sacrifices for Solaris United and Vox Solaris have undergone a rebalance! Both have had their requirements significantly reduced to help make these Syndicates much more accessible for players. Amp Recipe Reductions

This change is two fold: reduced crafting costs for Amp parts, and reduced Standing cost for purchasing parts. Our goal here is to make constructing an Amp more accessible to players by reducing resource demands. This is rooted firmly in the role upgrading your Amp plays in performing well in main quests like The Sacrifice as well as engaging in Focus Tree related content. Here are the changes below:
