They rejected me at first too. But am I trying to destroy everything? No! I'm not! I managed to come back, and live peacefully! Yet you didn't give anyone a chance! You kidnapped one of them and tortured them, and you think that just because you got bullied for having white eyes, it means you're okay to hurt whoever you want? No, it is NOT OK! A bad past is NOT AN EXCUSE TO BE A JERK! THERE IS NEVER AN EXCUSE TO BE A JERK! So you can stop making excuses and see things the right-
~ Natalie to Lieutenant Obsidian, pointing out that she has no excuse for what she has done.
Don't feel bad for him. Bastard doesn't deserve an ounce of sympathy.
~ The Shopkeeper telling the player not to sympathise with Hypno. (Although the latter actually counts as tragic, making this an exaggeration)

While it is common for them to be Complete Monsters, this is not always the case as some can be sympathetic if portrayed as such.

Examples include:

NOTE: This is for Villains who either faked their backstories or they don't hold up. Villains with background sympathy should be classified as Tragic. And do not add any villains here with merely speculated backstories (e.g Desert Tumbler, Mario (Secret History) and Francis).

Their opposites are Tragic Heroes.
