This article is about only Ekanrock from the past timeline because in the new timeline he was saved and prevented from doing all his crimes.

Ekanrock is the main antagonist of Back to the Outback franchise, serving as the unseen overarching antagonist in Back to the Outback and the main antagonist of From the Outback to Entire World and Final Days of Outback, sequels to Back to the Outback by Gurzhey V.

He is going to be voiced by Idris Elba.

Biography[]

Past[]

When Ekanrock was a child, he was living with his family in India. His relationships with family often had conflicts between them, especially with his siblings. But once, 3 hunters arrived for some animals and Ekanrock was kidnapped by hunters. His family didn't want to lose anybody else, so they (parents and siblings) just ran away and didn't come to rescue Ekanrock and he felt abandoned by his family because of that. Then he was taken away to the zoo where he met a female king cobra and expected to earn friendly and caring relationship from people. They both fell in love. But he was abused for being dangerous much like the group. Unlike the group however, he wanted revenge for underestimating him. He promised to himself that every human, every weak animal, and everyone who will stand in his way will be destroyed. While he was turning evil, his wife was scared of it and ran away, completely devastating and angering Ekanrock. When guard tried to take Ekanrock for the next show, cobra killed him and left the zoo.

When he reached the cave with his family, wife, and son Ardako (who was born 2 weeks ago), he started making a plan for revenge. He encountered Ardako and his siblings and hypnotised them to leave the cave, leaving his wife with nothing. Eventually, he would raise them as his minions, making Ardako his insecure right-hand.

He hired Cleer the cloaked lizard, Chaw the chameleon, Asp the snake, Tero the turtle, Gavin the gharial, Igee the iguana, and Morgo the comodo dragon, all of them criminal geniuses like himself.

During his terror, he encountered Chaz Hunt who wasn't zookeeper at this time and his friend. They tried to catch to give as a present to his son. But instead, Ekanrock bit his friend, poisoning and eventually killing him. Chaz Hunt was very sad because of losing his friend and started hating snakes too. That led Chaz to be afraid of dangerous animals and all events of Back to the Outback.

A little time later, he attacked Maddie's parents Terry and Katie trying to steal their children who were still in eggs. Katie pushes all of them in the water in order to save them but only Maddie could go out alive. Ekanrock brutally kills Terry and Katie offscreen and mocks Katie's results.

From the Outback to Entire World[]

He was running away with Ardako from furious monkeys accidentally meeting the group. Maddie decided to hide them in the cave and they survived. Ekanrock introduced himself and Ardako to them and said that they lost their family because of tragedy. And Maddie asked them to go with them in the journey. When they were walking through the russian forest, he was captured by group of wolves presumably to be dead. But he hypnotises them and makes them attack the group to Ardako's horror.

When he was ordering everybody to catch them, he was making deadly fights of his "members" to see who is the strongest to kill the group. But then he decided to do it by himself. When group was in North America, they got in ambush by him. Ekanrock revealed himself alive and leader of their enemies (by taking his eye linces off) and ordered to catch them. Maddie sacrifices herself by pushing her friends from the low cliff and getting caught. When he wanted to go away, Jackie arrived to save Maddie and won easily. But lightning stroke the tree making it fall on Jackie and nail her to the ground. Ekanrock uses his opportunity to kill her to Maddie's and everybody's horror.

Eventually, they would bring crying Maddie into their cave, so Ekanrock would start torturing her. He tried to fuel her wrath on humanity, by telling his backstory (which was closely related to her) and eventually revealing his secret about Maddie's parents (that he killed them). So, when Maddie was broken down, he starts hypnotising her. Maddie eventually sees visions of her parents, Ekanrock's past and future (which shows what will happen if Ekanrock wins) and eventually starts screaming so loudly, so she breaks Ekanrock's hypnosis. Embarrassed, villain decides to leave Maddie to rot in her cage. But soon, he couldn't even that Ardako would eventually release Maddie and try to help her friends with trapping his father's army in the cave. Suddenly, due to Nigel's failure, they all would be noticed, and Ekarnock would eventually give his son a cruel lesson to follow his orders and take his father seriously. This included beating Ardako up and then rejecting him for "his naiveness". Now, with the whole team captured, Ekanrock already announces his victory and orders his army to get team's airship to fly to the airship, where he is going to start the "carnage of monsters". But, right before he could push friends off the ship, Adriano and other birds appear to stop them, as others fight his army on the ground. Eventually, airship is broken and starts falling on the lone store, with Maddie and Ekarnock accidentally falling on the Empire State Building's roof. Final battle began.

Pretty Boy ordered others to fight with Ekanrock's gang on the ground and various buildings while Maddie was fighting on the Empire State Building's roof. Maddie was knocked to the edge of the building and caught it with her teeth not to fall. He was beating her in the head to break her teeth but she grabbed a door of a helicopter and was thrown inside. People were afraid of them both and fired them with darts. Ekanrock was accidentally kicked off the helicopter and catched Maddie to take her down with him.

They fell in the lab where Maddie fell in healing liquid and recovered and Ekanrock landed in mutating liquid and became a giant mutated beast. When he breaks out of liquid, they started fighting in the lab and went outside on the wall of the lab. Being stretched by Ekanrock she screamed in pain so loud so the group and Ardako heard her and reached them and started beating Ekanrock up together. But before they arrived Maddie molted to escape from his hands but he thought that he ripped her head out. Pretty Boy and Ardako threw a mixture with antidote and Maddie caught it and threw it at the beast, returning him to normal. Ekanrock couldn't walk on the wall and they both started falling down. They started fighting in the air and Ekanrock knocked Maddie out.

When Nigel saved Ekanrock's victims from hypnosis, Ekanrock was caught by a vulture and laughed evilly because Maddie will be dead now. But he didn't expect that vulture wanted not to save his former boss but to eat him for the murder of his family. Thankfully Maddie was caught by two kind birds who landed on the ground with her. The vulture landed on the ground and said that Ekanrock was a terrible person and he deserved to be eaten. He showed Ekanrock's skin and teeth. Maddie said that she wanted him to get better person or to be arrested and avenge Jackie but Adjan relaxed her saying that they wanted to avenge everyone Ekanrock took away. And ekanrgangs said that they were serving him to survive but they were arrested.

When Maddie with outback inhabitants built a statue of Jackie, Ekanrock's voice from hell is heard saying that he will return and his vengeance will be frightening.

Final Days of Outback[]

When ekanrgangs were in prison, Ekanrock's spirit told them that he has robotic clone (which looked closely to his mutated form). It was created in order to revive him, after they reunite with dangerous criminal organisation "Fangs of the Dragon" and find eight treasures. He was manipulating them all and made Hoppy, Walter Phenger's household psychopatic albino bunny, his loyal servant. During their mission, he also ordered to get 4 most malevolent things that he wants to get: his servant's skin (protection from ally), his father's bone (his powerful body), Ardako's poison in fang (his superpower) and Maddie's tears (his enemy's weakness). When he revived, he tried to order others to make the weapon to destroy the world but group accidentally distracted him and he ordered to move away.

During their final fight on criminals' vans, Ekanrock joined them and tried to kill Maddie and others and revealed that Hoppy was with him all the time. Then he asked Maddie, who is the most important for her so he could kill him. But when Maddie said that she loves them all, he threw her out of the van and grabbed them all to fight by himself. He uses Hoppy as a weapon to kill them but suddenly gets shot by Chaz (who secretly hired his hunter friends to stop Walter Phenger) with a dart. When vans were stopped by the police on the bridge and Walter blew the bombs in one of the vans to destroy the bridge, police officers and Chaz's hunters ran away but friends, second van with Walter and Ekanrock fell down in the river. He suddenly woke up trying to kill Maddie but was hit in the head with a bag thrown by Pretty Boy. When he got up, Walter realised what does Ekanrock really want and tried destroy the damp to kill him, but they both fell down the waterfall. He suddenly catched Maddie by tail to take her down with him but her friends catched her to save them both. Maddie shows that she has time machine with her so she can enter the past to save him and released her tail from others. Ekanrock gets killed in the crash of garbage and the explosion.

After Maddie reaches the moment when Ekarnock will be captured, she pushes him off the non-high cliff to save him from hunters. However Ekanrock at first thinks that she wanted to kill but when he remembers, his mind gets interrupted by Ekanrock's evil spirit who tried to drive him to dark. Ekanrock manages to defeat him once and for all (because he starts thinking of good thoughts of defeating dark (that's all was in Ekarnock's mind so he could control it however he wanted)) preventing all his future crimes. New Ekanrock thanks Maddie for saving him and comes back to his family.

Personality[]

During his childhood with his family he barely could speak for himself as he had some issues with relationships between his father and siblings. His siblings were bullying him for being the youngest, weakest and cowardliest out of them. His father wasn't that good father for him, as he once wanted to reject him as his son (for his weakness and cowardice) When he was kidnapped by hunters and saw that his family didn't want to save him because they wanted to save their children, Ekanrock became jealous and promised to revenge them (Possibly he lived a short time with family and barely remembered anybody). When he was transported in the zoo, he wanted to have a better life and be called the real king of animals. Soon here, when he met female cobra, who in 4 years became his date, Ekanrock wasn't so good husband to her. After various abuses, he became worse towards his wife (who was gonna birth some children including Ardako). After his wife escaped the zoo in fear of Ekanrock' s wrath, he showed his hate for people and her wife too, became vengeful, ruthless, and complete monster, and started killing others.

He wasn't actually loving his family and his son Ardako for who they are (especially after his corruption). He didn't actually love his family (including his parents, siblings, wife and newborn children) after they didn't save him so much (and because his wife left him), so he hypnotised his son Ardako and his siblings and made them leave their home, abandoning their mother. He also didn't love Ardako like a real father. He loved Ardako only because was loyal and obedient to do something. But he wasn't caring for Ardako's life. He wasn't caring for other his "helpers"' lives either.

He didn't express any remorse after hypnotizing his children and making them follow him and abandon their mother, capturing various animals, killing Jackie, torturing and traumatizing Maddie, and later beating her in the head trying to break her teeth and throwing her down from the building. During the final battle he even tried to make Maddie save him not to redeem, but to try to kill her by hitting her in the head from backside. He also treats his "servants" as slaves because he beats them up and kills them for their fault. He also does enjoy organising battles of his servants often ending in deaths, only to find out, who is stronger for his mission. He was also cruel to Ardako because he didn't care about his life (he just used him to reach his goals), brutally beat him up for trying to help Maddie, or even tried to kill him in the final battle.

His terrible personality became more malevolent when he became the ghost. He is also shown to be manipulative because he ordered ekanrgangs to reunite with the most dangerous crime organisation "Fangs of the Dragon" to find all 8 treasures to revive him. He wasn't caring about them even that time. When he called them because he needed 4 most malevolent things to revive him - his father's bone, his servant's skin, Ardako's poison and Maddie's tears. He made Cleer rip his tail of and take off his skin and he also made Chris Phenger, son of Walter, abuse Maddie. However if he "wished for them to be rulers of the world", he actually wanted to destroy and kill everyone, even "Fangs of the Dragon". He showed little to no respect or gratitude to his son Chris by ordering Walter to shut him up (even for good) during the final battle. It isn't secret why Walter even wanted to kill him with heroes during the final fight.

Appearance[]

Early age[]

He was male king cobra 4 meters in lenght. He has dark purple skin and dark lavender on his underbelly. He had yellow eyes with red pupils.

After turning evil[]

His eyes have been changed. Now they have red sclera with yellow pupils. He also drew fire on his neck-flaps and burning skull under his head.

Mutated[]

He became a giant cobra with a vulture's beak with fangs, glowing eyes, big horns, human-shaped torso, two bear's arms, two lion's feet two wings (one dragon's and one bird's) and 6 tails (each has a huge arm which can climb on walls and electrify).

Spirit[]

He resembles his mutant form. However he is completely colored in glowing dark purple leaving his eyes red with yellow pupils.

Cyborg[]

Robotic body resembles mutated form by anatomy. While it was made of rubbish, it still makes him frightening warrior. His head is made of vulture's skull (upper jaw) with red lense on left side and glass eye with camera and brush as eyebrow on right side and iron lower jaw. One horn is made out of real bull's horn while second is broken pile. His hood is made of jacket's remains. One wing is made out of iron piles while second is made out of wood and both are sewed with clothed sheets. His chest is a box when torso is made of multiple fused iron sheets. Right arm covered in fur and wires includes hand out of bones (with claws) and iron shoulder. Left arm is a robotic hand. One tail is made out of robotic hand with a knife; another is robotic pincers. Left leg is human prosthesis while right is made out of horse's bones, covered in wires.

Trivia[]

• He is also first main antagonist of "Outback" franchise who died (second overall if female biker who was crushed by giant rock in first movie died).
• He looks like pokemon Arbok and his name is a little similar to its pre-evolution Ekans. But creator of the movie didn't want to make him a knockoff of them both. These similarities are accidental.
• While Ekanrock's past is traumatising, barely anyone felt sorry for him (mostly because of not knowing it or being angry over his crimes), leaving Maddie the only one to sympathyse her archenemy (as Maddie is Pure Good, it's obvious for her to do it).
• Here are some moments, which slightly foreshadow Ekanrock's true personality:
  • At the beginning, when Maddie hears the truth about her parents from Greg, he says that "unknown terror" resembles a snake with hood, who had glowing red eyes.
  • When we first meet Ekanrock, he hardly breathes and speaks fake sad. His speech also sounds a little menacing.
  • At the same time, we see that Ardako looks extremely nervous which would foreshadow his relationship with his father.
  • In Russian forest, when he makes friends run away as he "stops" his wolves, he doesn't scream in fear after getting grabbed in wolf's teeth. It's because he won't make his hypnotised servant eat his "boss".
  • During some scenes in cave, while he fakes his voice and hides in darkness in front of others, he still sounds real.
    • Even when we don't know about Ekanrock's true colors, he surprisingly knows a lot, Maddie told to him after their meeting.
• Ekanrock is considered a foil to Maddie:
  • First and foremost, they both get abused by humans. But Maddie never wanted to fight back, then she makes her friends escape the zoo and find peaceful life at their home, while Ekanrock only fuels up with hate of humanity and decides to prove he is the leader.
  • Their appearances are also different. Maddie's skin is colored in slightly light blue, when Ekanrock's skin is colored in dark purple.
  • When Maddie cares about her family and friends, Ekarnock doesn't. He likes his servants only as useful weapons.
    • At the same time, Maddie never interacted with her mother or any sibling, while Ekanrock interacted with his family for a short time.
  • Maddie is pretty weak in physical strength, while Ekanrock is strong.
  • Both have different gender.
