Oluf Nautson is a minor antagonist in the 2022 dark fantasy game God of War Ragnarök. He is the leader of the Kol Raiders, a major enemy group that has attacked Kratos and Atreus multiple times across Fimbulwinter.
Biography[]
Shortly after Fimbulwinter began, Freya approached the Kol Raider Chief Oluf, and told him that Kratos was the cause of this deadly winter. She did this as one of her many methods of payback due to Kratos killing her son. Oluf then ordered his soldiers to attack Kratos and his companions. According to dialogue and codex writings, they have been launching attacks all Fimbulwinter, since Freya deceived them, and most of these attacks happened off-screen before the events of the game.
However, we do see many instances of the Kol Raiders attacking Kratos, especially if he tracks the mission that involves killing the Kol Raider camps. Upon attacking the final one, Oluf will emerge and attempt to take on Kratos himself.
Oluf is by far the strongest of the Raiders, but even he is no match for Kratos, who defeats him by snapping his neck with Oluf's weapon.
