Hermes is a major antagonist in the Greek Era of the God of War franchise.
Biography[]
In God of War III, Hermes encounters Kratos, and proceeds to taunt him. Kratos, enraged, attempts to chase after Hermes, and after a long chase sequence, uses a catapult to wound him so that he can no longer run. A short battle occurs, resulting in Kratos cutting off Hermes' legs for his winged shoes. Kratos would use this tool to help him in his upcoming endeavors.
Hermes' death results in pestilence poisoning Greece.
