Street Fighter 6

The Yoga Arch (ヨガアーチ Yoga Aachi?) is one of Dhalsim's special attacks, introduced in Street Fighter 6.

Input
Classic Arcade Stick QCF+Arcade Button Kick
Modern Arcade-Stick-Right+Modern SP

Description[]

Executed by performing a quarter-circle forward motion and pressing kick (or pressing forward and Special Attack for Modern control), Dhalsim shoots an angled Yoga Fire upwards, similar to Street Fighter V. By pressing two kick buttons, Dhalsim can perform the Overdrive version of Yoga Arch. Not only it hits the opponent twice, but the Light and Medium version bounces on the ground three times before disappearing. The Heavy OD version causes the fireball to bounce back into the opponent. This operates similar to Dhalsim's second V-Skill.

Tactics[]

Just like in Street Fighter V, Dhalsim sends the fireball at an arc toward the opponent. The speed, distance, as well as the angle of the fireball, is determined by the punch button. The Light version comes out pretty slow and covers the shortest distance. The Heavy version comes out slightly faster and travels almost fullscreen. However, all three versions of the Yoga Fire peak at the same height before descending.

Yoga Arch is best used to catch an opponent's guard or to follow up with a normal. Dhalsim can perform this move and follow up with a long-range poke. Even if the opponent blocks the normal, they still have to deal with the descending fireball, allowing Dhalsim to maintain offensive pressure. Additionally, Dhalsim can teleport to the other side of the opponent as the fireball drops down on them, putting them in a guessing situation.

It also can keep the opponent grounded due to its arching trajectory. Unlike Yoga Fire, this move can be difficult to jump over. If Dhalsim manages to hit an airborne opponent with this move, it puts them in a juggle state, allowing him to follow up with another normal to put them in an air reset or a knockdown to get decent okizeme afterwards.
