Between 230 BBY and 229 BBY,^[2] a skirmish occurred on the planet Banchii after the Nihil pirates, assisted by the Harch bounty hunter Vol Garat, excavated Banchii's Jedi temple. They found the modified ZZ-model droid ZZ-10, who was protecting the journal of former Jedi Azlin Rell. ZZ-10 fought back against the Nihil and defeated them, but was unable to defeat Garat. However, ZZ-10 was able to secretly send a message to Jedi Master Arkoff. ZZ-10 prepared to self-destruct to stop Garat from capturing the journal, but Arkoff arrived in time to rescue the droid, and was fought Garat, killing him. Shortly after, Jedi Master Savina Besatrix Malagán arrived to help, but the fighting had already ended.^[1]
