The Sting Attack (針攻撃, Hari kōgeki^?, lit. "Needle Attack") is a Fly Formation maneuver that appears in the Sonic the Hegdehog series. When using this move, Charmy attacks his foes with his stinger.

Description[]

When using the Sting Attack, Charmy points his natural stinger out in front of him and delivers a quick, vicious sting to the opponents directly ahead. While doing so, Charmy is surrounded by a red aura.

To perform Sting Attack in gameplay, Team Chaotix must be in Fly Formation. The player then has to press // without any teammates nearby to execute the Sting Attack. The Sting Attack also allows the player to activate Warp Flowers.

• In real life, a bee can sting someone only once in their life before dying, due to their barbed stinger getting caught in the skin of the target, and being torn away as the bee tries to fly away.
  • However, Wasps and many bees can sting more than once because they can pull out their stinger without injuring themselves.
