Princess Iaul (イアル姫 Iaru-hime), also known as Mio (美緒 Mio), is the twin sister of Igum, formerly a spy for Underground Empire Tube, and an ally of the Maskmen. In the Philippine Dub, she was renamed as Princesa Iyaru also known as Rio and she was voiced by Honey Almansec who also voices Princess Igum.
History[]
Maskman[]
Princess Iaul was sent by Tube to spy for them aboveground. Emerging from a manhole, she almost caused Takeru to crash his motorcycle. Calling herself Mio, she started seeing him, and eventually fell in love.

When Tube's forces were ready to attack, she warned Takeru, but was captured by the Igua Doggler, who pulled her beneath the ground in spite of Takeru's attempts to save her.
TV STORY-Ep. 1: The Mysterious, Beautiful Runaway She was still able to send messages to him through the pendant she'd left behind, and thanked him for the memories, saying that she would never see him again. She then transformed into Princess Iaul. Although her "brother" Igum was perfectly willing to kill her, Zeba sentenced her to imprisonment in ice for her betrayal instead. TV STORY-Ep. 2: Strange! Later, she was revived by Takeru. TV STORY-Ep. 49: The Revived Princess Iaul Kiros also had feelings for her, but they were not mutual.
After Zeba's destruction, Iaul was forced to leave Takeru to fulfill her duties as the new empress, though she still loved him. TV STORY-Final Ep.: The Great Destruction of the Underground Empire Castle!
