---|---|
SwShLA | The user utilizes the power of the terrain to attack. This move's type and power changes depending on the terrain when it's used. |
BDSP | This move can’t be used. It’s recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can’t be remembered. |
SV | The user utilizes the energy of the terrain to attack. This move’s type and power change depending on the terrain at the time the move is used. |
Effects[]
Terrain Pulse deals damage. Much like Weather Ball, Terrain Pulse is normally a Normal move that deals damage. However, when paired with a field addition such as weather or terrian, its power is doubled and does the same-type damage as the terrain's type.
- When there is no active terrain, the move is Normal type.
- When Electric Terrain is active, the move becomes Electric type.
- When Grassy Terrain is active, the move becomes Grass type.
- When Misty Terrain is active, the move becomes Fairy type.
- When Psychic Terrain is active, the move becomes Psychic type.
It is considered a Pulse move, so when a Pokémon with Mega Launcher uses it, it is boosted in power by 50%.
As a Normal-type move, it will become Max Strike when Dynamax is used. This is done in a similar fashion as Silvally's Multi-Attack, but will change type to correspond with the Terrain.

Trivia[]
- Currently, Silvally is the only Pokémon that can get STAB from all 5 types of this move.
- Both forms of Exeggutor and Venusaur get STAB from the Grass-type form.
- Lickitung, Kangaskhan, Snorlax, Dunsparce, Lickilicky, Regigigas and Type: Null can only get STAB from the Normal-type variant.
- Oranguru and Indeedee can only get STAB from the Normal- or Psychic-type forms of the move.
- Mew can only get STAB from the Psychic-type form of the move.
- Carbink, Xerneas and Diancie can only get STAB from the Fairy-type form of the move.
- Therefore, only Silvally can get the Electric-type STAB once it is holding the Electric Memory.
