Terrain Pulse is a Normal-type move introduced in Generation VIII.

Description[]

Games Description
SwShLA The user utilizes the power of the terrain to attack.
This move's type and power changes depending on the terrain when it's used.
BDSP This move can’t be used. It’s recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can’t be remembered.
SV The user utilizes the energy of the terrain to attack. This move’s type and power change depending on the terrain at the time the move is used.

Effects[]

Terrain Pulse deals damage. Much like Weather Ball, Terrain Pulse is normally a Normal move that deals damage. However, when paired with a field addition such as weather or terrian, its power is doubled and does the same-type damage as the terrain's type.

It is considered a Pulse move, so when a Pokémon with Mega Launcher uses it, it is boosted in power by 50%.

As a Normal-type move, it will become Max Strike when Dynamax is used. This is done in a similar fashion as Silvally's Multi-Attack, but will change type to correspond with the Terrain.
