Operation TSO

Operation TOS, short for (T)he Reindeer (S)poke, (O)verwhelm (トナカイが しゃべった おったまげ, (T)onakai ga (S)habetta (O)ttamage^?, English localization: "(T)alking (R)eindeer (S)hock") is a project designed by Usopp to take down Sugar and save Franky, who had been turned into a toy. It was based on Operation SOP, swapping out the Tatababasco with Bitter-Bitter Gourd.

Initial Plan[]

The initial plan called for Chopper to approach Sugar and begin talking to her, shocking her with a talking animal. While she stood with her mouth open in shock, Franky, in toy form, would approach her and throw the Bitter-Bitter Gourd spice in her mouth.

Course of Events[]

The three Straw Hats attempted to sneak close to Sugar to put their plan into action, but were seen before they arrived. After fighting off her bodyguards, Chopper attempted to follow the initial plan, but Sugar remained calm, assuming he was a stuffed animal that she didn't recognize. When he revealed that he was a reindeer who could speak, she stated she thought he was a tanuki, angering Chopper instead of Sugar.

Seeing that the plan wasn't working, Franky attempted to shoot the spice into Sugar's mouth while she spoke. However, she managed to blocked the shot, and the spice flew into the air. Chopper backpedaled to try and catch it while Usopp ran forward, attempting the same thing. As Usopp called out to Chopper, warning him to be careful, the spice ball fell into his mouth, and he swallowed it. This caused Usopp to make the same extreme face fault as when he ate the Tatababasco (albeit with a blue tint), which once again caused Sugar to pass out from fear and cancel the Hobi Hobi no Mi ability.

Aftermath[]

With Operation TSO complete, the three Straw Hats were able to fight off Sugar's last bodyguards and return to Memoria, leaving the Hysteria they were stuck inside.
