His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He was a former member of the Black Guerrilla Family, and the crimes he committed with them are likely what got him on death row.
- It's mentioned that he and the Black Guerrilla Family bombed a NRA Convention.
- He assisted Cyrus Grissom in hijacking the Jailbird as a way to escape confinement.
- He's shown to be incredibly xenophobic, viewing African Americans as the superior race.
- He disguised as a police guard along with Cyrus and other convicts in order to to get even more convicts in another prison onto the Jailbird without any suspicion.
- He attempted to kill 3 of the hostages for absolutely no reason, which luckily was prevented by Cameron Poe and even Cyrus himself.
- He and other convicts took part in the mass murder of many military men under Cyrus' orders, with Nathan even taking joy in the massacre.
- It is revealed he is not truly loyal to Cyrus, explaining to Cameron that Cyrus' plan is simply a means to and end for his own evil plans, which involves trying to start a revolution against those not of African American ethnicity.
- Unlike Cyrus, who at least was honourable and had standards, Nathan was simply a xenophobic terrorist and schemer who was only out for himself.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He ultimately fails the Heinous Standards to Cyrus himself, due to many of his crimes being shared with the other convicts and being under Cyrus' orders, with the only thing making Nathan stand out from the rest of the convicts is the attempted murder of 3 hostages.
- He was shocked when Cyrus burned Francisco Cindino, showing some seeming moral standards and opposition against Cyrus' brutal kill.
Trivia[]
- Nathan, alongside Cyrus Grissom, are the only two antagonists in Con Air to be Near Pure Evil.
