Brilliant Cyclops is a boss found on the 9th floor of Cocytus withing the Abyss of Time and must be beaten to continue. During battle, it will attack using Ice spells with the occassional Physical attack. After taking some damage, it will begin summoning Soul Dancers as backup and start using its Bufudyne skill. It is immune to all status ailments, but it is not immune to Poison damage.
When defeated, it will drop Broken Wheel. Broken Wheel can be used as a barter item.
Persona 4 / Golden[]
Brilliant Cyclops appears in World 6 of Magatsu Mandala within the Midnight Channel. It will alternate between physical strikes and Primal Force. When defeated, it may drop Cruel Thorn. Selling six Cruel Thorns at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Blitz Knife for Yosuke Hanamura in the shop.
In Golden, it appears in Worlds 4-6. It now repels all elemental spells except ice, its weakness. It is solely a physical attacker, using Assault Dive, Heat Wave, and Primal Force as its attacks of choice.
