Weapon Energy (武器エネルギー, Buki Enerugī) is an item in the Mega Man franchise. When touched, the item will recover a set amount of energy from the player's current Special Weapon. They are usually found as an item dropped by defeated enemies, but can also be found in stages and by other methods, such as being possible rewards from Eddie. Except for the ones found in stages, Weapon Energy items will disappear a short while after its appearance on the screen. The color of Weapon Energy basically changes to the color of Mega Man equipped with the Special Weapon.

In Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent they are called Biometal Energy (ライブメタルエネルギー, Livemetal Energy in Japan), and the larger ones can be sliced with a saber weapon to create smaller and different types of energy.

Recovery[]

Like Life Energy, Weapon Energy usually comes in two sizes, small (小, shou) and large (大, dai, "medium" in Mega Man X7), but some games contain extra large (特大, tokudai, "large" in Mega Man X7)/MAX versions that usually completely restores the energy from one or all weapons.

Special Weapon Recharge Cube (特殊武器回復キューブ, Tokushu Buki Kaifuku Kyūbu) is an item from the Mega Man Legends series that recharges the energy of the equipped Special Weapon.

Energy Cartridge[]

Energy Cartridge (E・エネルギーカートリッジ, Energy Cartridge) is an object from the Rockman X3 manga that X took from the remains of Dr. Doppler's Victoroid customers to restore his weapon energy before entering Sigma's fortress.
