The book tells the story of the members of the Avengers. Tony Stark's origin story is different to the one seen in Iron Man. The book also states that he was considered by S.H.I.E.L.D. to be a perfect fit for the Avengers Initiative which contradicts the ending of Iron Man 2. The book also states that MjĂžlnir is unbreakable, which is contradicted with the release of Thor: Ragnarok. There are other minor inconsistencies in the book, including that Iron Man is wearing the Iron Man Armor: Mark IV not the Mark V. Therefore, it is considered to be non-canon to the MCU since it does not line up with the continuity of the franchise.
