Full Chronology Fury's Big Week Suggestion
- The following discussion is an archived discussion. Please do not modify it.
- Used for timeline {{{sig}}}
Understandably, it is difficult to order the Big Week, but from reading the Big Week comics and the 2011 page, I am pretty sure this should be the order for the Big Week up to the Avengers according to all those:
- Iron Man 2 - Black Widow: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. - 19th-22nd May 2011
- "Big Week" (concurrent events) - 29th May-5th June 2011
- Iron Man 2 - 22nd-31st May 2011 (film starts on 22nd April and ends on 2nd June, but if you're going by the main part like it seems from the timeline, you would start with Natalie Rushman's arrival and end with the Battle at Stark Expo)
- The Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week, Volume 2 (One week earlier flashbacks) - 29th-30th May 2011
- The Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week, Volume 3 (Whole volume is flashbacks) - 31st May early afternoon-31st May evening 2011
- Marvel One-Shot: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer - 31st May evening 2011
- Iron Man 2: Post-Credits Scene - 1st June late morning 2011 (but it makes more sense to watch it between A Funny Thing and Thor)
- Thor - 31st May evening-2nd June 2011 (counting the film as starting when Thor arrives on Earth, and although the very end occurs on the 4th June, you can count the film as ending after the Duel on the Bifrost)
- The Incredible Hulk - 31st May evening-4th June 2011 (film starts on February 25th and ends on July 16th, but if going by main part, you would start with Banner going to Stanley's and end with the Duel of Harlem)
- The Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week, Volume 4 (Whole volume is flashbacks) - 1st June early morning-2nd June morning 2011
- The Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week, Volume 5 (Whole volume is flashbacks) - 2nd June morning-2nd June early afternoon 2011
- The Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week, Volume 6 (Whole volume is flashbacks) - 2nd June evening-4th June early evening 2011
- The Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week, Volume 7 (Flashbacks) - 4th June early evening 2011 (This volume transitions through from the flashbacks into where it started on the 5th June, but the ending of the flashback is on the 4th)
- Thor: The Dark World Prelude (prologue) - 4th June 2011 late evening (This is when the prologue of the comic takes place)
- The Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week, Volumes 1-7 - 5th June 2011 (This is when the modern day stuff happens before it flashes back and when the flashbacks finish)
- Thor: Post-Credits Scene - 7th June 2011
- Iron Man 3 Prelude (prologue) - 8th June afternoon 2011 (This is when the prologue of the comic takes place)
- Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant - 8th June evening-9th June afternoon 2011
- The Incredible Hulk: Post-Credits Scene - 9th June morning 2011
- The Avengers: The Avengers Initiative - 19th-20th March 2012
- The Avengers: Iron Man Mark VII - Late March 2012?
- The Avengers Prelude: Black Widow Strikes - Early April 2012?
- The Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week, Volume 8 - 14th April morning-15th April 2012
- Captain America: The First Avenger (prologue & epilogue) - 14th April evening-17th April 2012
- The Avengers - 30th April-5th May 2012
I feel like this order would make more sense than the order currently on the timeline BEJT (talk) 23:25, September 5, 2015 (UTC)BEJT
Comments
Thank you BEJT, for this detailed version. I agree with most of it.
You placed Marvel One-Shot: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer after Thor. But i think it should be placed for Thor. True, the intro of the movie (all the stuff at Jotunheim and Asgard) and Thor landing on Earth starts before the one-shot. But after Thor leaves the hospital, Phil already arived at the scene of the Hammer. Giving the one shot a nice intro to the rest of the movie.
And may i ask why you placed the The Incredible Hulk before Thor?
As the main events of the Hulk go from 31/05 to 04/06.
While the main events of Thor go from 31/05 to 02/06
Thus Thor should be placed for the Hulk as it ends earlier. Atleast that's how i see it.
But as i said before i agree with the rest, could you add The Avengers Prelude: Fury's Big Week, Volume 1 all the way to the beginning of the week, just to finish it? The Donutman (talk) 19:48, September 7, 2015 (UTC)
Thank you, the Funny Thing and Incredible Hulk suggestions makes more sense and I will adjust them.
I'm just not sure about Fury's Big Week volume 1, because nothing in it is flashbacks, it is all set on 5th June. It only flashes back on the 2nd volume, so I'm not sure whether to put that in.
But thank you for the suggestions, I have adjusted the list by them.

Awesome! But how can Fury's Big Week volume 1 be on 5th June? The The Incredible Hulk hasn't started yet and neither did Thor. Also Fury didn't knew Stark was sick yet. So he didn't send the Black Widow to baby sit Stark yet. The concurrents events in volume 1 all take directly place for the whole big week. The Donutman (talk) 20:43, September 7, 2015 (UTC)
I think Fury's Big Week works so that technically all of 1-7 is set on 5th June. I think the idea is that after the events of his "big week", he talks to the World Security Council about the Avengers Initiative and being allowed to continue to search for Captain America (see [2011] 5th June]]. So volume 1 is him talking to the council, then this continues into the beginning of volume 2. Then half way through volume 2 it flashes back to "1 week earlier" on 29th May. The rest of volume 2 and volumes 3, 4, 5 and 6 work through the flashbacks until in volume 7 the flashbacks have lasted a whole week and it gets back to 5th June where it started, with the ending of volume 7 being just after volume 1 and the first half of volume 2 (and then volume 8 is 1 year later). So basically I think the chronological order of the Fury's Big Week comics is:
- (Volume 1 part 1 - Flashback to 1945)
- Volume 2 part 2, vol 3, 4, 5, 6 and vol 7 part 1 - 29th May-4th June 2011
- Volume 1 part 2, vol 2 p1 and vol 7 p2 - 5th June 2011
- (Volume 8 - 14th-15th April 2012)
BEJT (talk) 21:00, September 5, 2015 (UTC)BEJT
Hmm i think your wrong about this. After the flashback in 1945 they find a body of one of the Hydra guards on the plane. Fury then hears there's a meeting with the security council in 12 hours back at New York. The securtiy council wants him to drop his activities, involving iron man, captain america and Banner. So he can focus on the Tessarect.
In Volume 2, Fury reflects back as to what happened the last week. Starting with Fury waking up and hearing about Tony's his sickness. And yes then the rest of the volumes work through the flashbacks until in volume 7 the flashbacks have laste a whole week.
In volume 7: Fury this time asked to speak with the security council. He has a long list of demands. And he explains why he should get them:
- He saved Tony Stark life and discovered an element which could be helpfull for experiments with the Tessarect.
- He made allies with a demi-god, and aquired the asgardian robot which attacked a village in new mexico. This technology could be helpfull to help explain the tessarect and visa versa.
- He cleaned up the mess from General Ross (wondering who gave him all this secret intel)
- And he kept a small team on the artic, so he could find the one guy who actually had some experience with the tessarect.
So basicly the order is quite simple:
- (Volume 1 part 1 - Flashback to 1945)
- Volume 1 - find guard in artic
- volume 1 - 12 hours later in New York
- volume 1 - Fury tell's Phil they continu their activities secretly.
- vol 2-6 flashbacks
- vol 2 start
- vol 7

According to the timeline, All Hail the King should fit between The Magical Place and Seeds Based on the timeline pages (and the information that is prepared but yet to be put on the timeline pages), this is the order we have established for the Netflix shows:
- The talk page is not a place to write down a full proposed version of how a page should like according to the proponent, as its name implies, its a place to talk about and explain the proposals. These things, (and the ones that have been removed), are impractical to read, and that's why they are, most of the times, mostly ignored...--Shabook (talk) 22:56, April 21, 2016 (UTC)
- Have now cut it down to the parts that me and Marvelous are trying to say. That is the timeline order and I hope that helps for updating the timeline page at some point. Sorry for inconveniences. BEJT (talk) 23:11, April 21, 2016 (UTC)
- I had previously suggested the timeline as one running line but I was told that it should be in parallel like it is currently. The gaps are just an idea for a way of showing a linear watch order whilst simultaneously showing the parallel seasons which run alongside. There is probably a better way of doing it than the way I have done it, and the gaps can just be cut out if you want, just an idea. BEJT (talk) 23:32, April 21, 2016 (UTC)

Date when Nick Fury heads to space

I see the Timeline states Nick Fury heads to space with a group of Skrulls on February 24, 2024. Shouldn't it be some time before the first post-credit scene in the last episode of WandaVision? Kordalia (talk) 17:59, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- WandaVision is not fully done on the timeline page now. It's still being checked and past events have not been placed yet, so its effect on Fury going into space has not yet been properly discussed. We also do not know that the Skrull was talking about Fury, it could be Carol or Talos. Jessica3801 (talk) 19:58, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- Okay. Just one last thing. Is this the place where I should ask that kind of questions, or is there some better place? Kordalia (talk) 19:59, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- The timeline discussion is generally a good place to mention these things. There are instructions on how to use it in the page. If you have questions, you can also feel free to message me or BEJT (who spearheads the project)! Jessica3801 (talk) 22:15, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- Just rewatched that episode of WandaVision. The Skrull uses "he" when talking about that friend of Maria's mother's. So, we know that's not Carol. Could still be Talos though. Kordalia (talk) 20:04, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
