The Processing Droid[1] is a robot used by the Time Variance Authority designed to uncloth the Variants.
History[]
Used by the TVA[]
As the Time Variance Authority was tasked with controlling the unwanted branches of the Sacred Timeline, the TVA was forced to capture the individuals responsible for said event and take them to their office where they would be prosecuted for their crimes against the established timeline. In order to prosecute the variants, the TVA used the Processing Droid to uncloth them by pruning their clothes, the variants would then be handed new clothes that branded them as variants with their respective codename before judgement.[2]
Meeting L1130[]
When the TVA detected a nexus event in an alternate 2012, Loki was captured and taken into the TVA Office. After he was labeled as Variant L1130, Loki was placed in a chamber with the Processing Droid, who greeted the God of Mischief and told him to stay still, before pruning his clothing and sending him to another chamber beneath him where he was prepared for his upcoming judgement.[2]
Capabilities[]
The Processing Droid is capable of erasing a Variant's clothing using a ranged version of the golden energy used to prune timelines in Time Sticks and Reset Charges.
