Marine Corps[]

Before his death, Donny Chavez' father was a member of the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines battalion of the United States Marine Corps based out of North Carolina.^[1]

Meeting by the Beach[]

Lance Hunter and Bobbi Morse met at the Outer Banks, on a spring night. Morse was on the pier facing the Outer Banks, with the moonlight shining on her face. At that moment, Hunter thought Morse resembled a goddess, though in time, he went to think she was a demonic hell-beast.^[2]

Bank Theft[]

Benjamin Pollack and his girlfriend Claire Weiss planned a series of thefts using a Chitauri Gun that fell from the sky inside their laboratory in New York City and that Pollack managed to repair.

One of those thefts took place in the city of Greensboro, North Carolina, nine days after the Battle of New York, where they managed to steal the money and access the vault of the bank blasting the door with the weapon. As with the other thefts, Pollack and Weiss abandoned the town after the successful theft.^[3]

Flag Smashers' Political Ultimatum[]

In 2023, as a result of the Blip, North Carolina's population were restored to life. Shortly after, the Global Repatriation Council set up a refugee camp in Charlotte. In 2024, the Flag Smashers targeted that camp on their campaign.^[4]
