Noor is a very powerful cosmic, photonic and mystical energy that is used as the energy source of Noor Dimension, it can also be manipulated and channeled by its inhabitants to achieve incredible feats, such as reality warping. Noor manifests as a "hard light" that can be easily destroyed and each user manifests a different coloring that can be inherited by their descendants.
Noor users are often identified as Djinn due to their ability to manipulate Noor to satisfy the needs of themselves and others, such as Aisha who used her Noor to get someone to come help her daughter. And due to Noor's extra-dimensional nature, its users may have difficulty channeling and manipulating Noor into other dimensions, and may need objects to unlock, such as Aisha and the Clandestines who needed a bangle of unknown origin in order to use Noor on Earthly Plane, and even if they do, they may not be able to reach their full potential.
A user can also transfer his Noor to another, such as Najma who transferred her Noor to Kamran, and combined with Kamran's latent natural Noor caused him to manifest his powers to their fullest potential.
