- "Your money pays the rent. Keeps the homeless guys in coffee and soup. And occasionally, we talk about being a vet. It helps. Some of them, I think. They keep coming back, so that must mean something, right?"

The New York Veteran Support Group is a support group for the United States Armed Forces veterans in New York City, led by Curtis Hoyle.
History[]
With the help of Billy Russo, Curtis Hoyle established a support group at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he would provide help for homeless and U.S. military veterans.[1] Gathering veterans for therapy sessions, Hoyle was determined to help Lewis Wilson to adjust to civilian life, but he had to deal with O'Connor who was spreading his extremist rhetoric to fellow veterans.[2] No matter how hard Hoyle tried, Wilson eventually snapped and became a terrorist, killing O'Connor[3] and Isaac Lange, but ended up dying in the altercation with Frank Castle.[4]
For a brief period, Castle joined the therapy group, where he opened up about his service in Afghanistan and shared that his greatest fear was the silence now that his war was complete.[5]
Approaching Hoyle for the information about Castle, Dinah Madani visited a therapy session, listening to Jimbo's experience in the army. Jake Nelson demanded to know why a civilian would be there with them, however, Madani made it clear that despite not serving in the army, she knew what the war is better than many.[6]
One day, Hoyle gathered a group of his fellow veterans at the church, asking them for help to track Jigsaw's Crew down. With their help, Hoyle found out that Jigsaw and his men were hiding at the Valhalla and went there with Castle.[7]
