Lemar Hoskins' Calls[]
Mrs. Hoskins worked at Hoskins Family Flowers and kept a picture of her son, Lemar Hoskins, and his best friend, John Walker.[1] In 2024, Walker was appointed the new Captain America,[2] and Lemar told his mother how proud he was of Walker. Hoskins told his mother daily that he was proud to be Walker's partner.[1]

Following Lemar Hoskins' death at the hands of Karli Morgenthau and John Walker being stripped of his title of Captain America due to his murder of Nico, Walker visited the Hoskins family's flower shop. Walker lied to the family, telling them that Nico was Lemar's killer. Hoskins told Walker that she believed Lemar would feel at peace knowing that Walker served his murderer justice, and showed Walker a picture of himself and Lemar from after their first tour together. Hoskins told Walker that Lemar would consistently call her and say how proud he was to serve with Walker. Hoskins hugged Walker, who left after Hoskins was comforted by her husband.[1]
