The Escape from Decommissioned CDC Facility was a successful attempt by Kilgrave to escape from Jessica Jones.
Background[]
Kilgrave woke up in a prison after being sedated by Jessica Jones. Jones played a video of his parents torturing him. This was an attempt to get Kilgrave to admit to forcing Hope Shlottman to kill her parents. There was water in the prison so that they could electrocute Kilgrave. Jones went in to try to trick him, but Kilgrave was smarter, he never used his powers. Jones beat him up out of her own rage. As time went on, Jones and Trish Walker did their research while Kilgrave sat. While Jones was out, Jeri Hogarth got Walker to leave and then talked to Kilgrave alone. Suddenly, Jones arrived, bringing in Kilgrave's parents.[1]

As Albert and Louise Thompson started to talk to their son, Oscar Clemons walked in with a gun. Trish Walker showed up behind him with her own sidearm, preparing to shoot Clemons. Jones then disarmed Clemons so he could watch Kilgrave. As Albert and Louise walked into the cell, Kilgrave argued with them until he finally hugged his parents. However, Louise got out scissors and stabbed her son. Kilgrave lost it and controlled Louise. Jones went to press the button, but the electrical line had been cut by Hogarth earlier. He told Louise to pick up the scissors and stab herself. Jones told everyone to run. She then opened the gate to save Albert from being his next victim. Walker shot at Kilgrave, breaking the glass. Kilgrave escaped and told his father to cut his heart out. He then told Walker to put a bullet in her skull and for Clemons to follow him. Walker shot her head, only for the gun to be jammed. Jones then grabbed Kilgrave which he ordered her to let go, but she didn't. Kilgrave then made Clemons tackle her. Jones ran after Kilgrave, but was too late. Jones realized he could no longer control her.[1]
Aftermath[]
Kilgrave told Jeri Hogarth to drive him to a doctor that she trusts. Hogarth drove him to Wendy Ross-Hogarth. In the facility, Walker cries as she tries to put a bullet in her head. Jones opens her mouth and places a bullet in her mouth. Walker is then broken free from the mind control. Albert Thompson wakes up and briefly mourns Louise Thompson before remembering he has to cut his heart. He grabs the scissors, but is restrained by Jones. Oscar Clemons helps as well. At Ross-Hogarth's, Kilgrave is stitched up and he prepared to tell Ross-Hogarth to sign the divorce papers, but was forced to leave. He then told Ross-Hogarth to kill Hogarth by cutting her 1,000 times. Meanwhile, Clemons cleaned up, but Will Simpson walked in and killed him.[3]
