The Arrest of Black Bolt was the detention by the Honolulu Police Department of the King of the Inhumans Black Bolt, who had been caught breaking the law and disrupting public order in Honolulu shortly after being teleported there by Lockjaw. It resulted in Black Bolt being imprisoned in the Oahu County Correctional Facility.

In an attempt to escape Attilan after Maximus' Coup, Crystal ordered Lockjaw to transport King Black Bolt to Earth, with him ending up in Honolulu. Unsure of where he or his family were, Black Bolt stepped out into traffic, causing a minor crash. When a police officer arrived to assess the situation, Black Bolt quickly escaped the scene.[1]

While on the run, Black Bolt realized that his clothes would draw attention and snuck into a store to change clothes. However, as he was from Attilan, he was unaware that he had to pay for his new clothes. A security guard tried to stop him as he left, only for him to subdue the guard, forcing a woman in the store to contact the police.
An officer tried to arrest Black Bolt, but he subdued the guard by twisting his wrist, tossing away his gun, and locking him in his own handcuffs. Reinforcements arrived and pursued Black Bolt through the streets. Once they surrounded him, they beat him up with their batons, resorting to a taser when he punched out some officers. The force of the taser caused him to grunt in pain, with his hypersonic voice flipping a police cruiser. Black Bolt was stunned upon seeing the destruction, and was promptly subdued and arrested by the officers.[1]
Aftermath[]
Black Bolt's arrest made newspaper headlines the following day, with Medusa noticing a newspaper coverage of the event.
News of the arrest also reached the inmates of the Oahu County Correctional Facility, where Black Bolt was imprisoned. They were impressed by the fact that Black Bolt, unlike most of them, was able to subdue and defeat some of the police.[1]
