The Ambush on Lincoln Campbell was an event where Lincoln Campbell tried to recruit Alisha Whitley and save her from Hive.

Hive had swayed Daisy Johnson and was looking for more Inhumans. Phil Coulson wanted to find Alisha Whitley because he knew Hive would be looking for her next. They find Whitley's location and engage. Coulson had Lincoln Campbell put on a Nanothermite Vest so that if he got swayed, they would blow him up.[2]

As Alisha Whitley walked out of the elevator of a parking garage, Lincoln Campbell approached her asking if she has seen Daisy Johnson. He tried to talk to Whitley, but suddenly was shot at from behind by a duplicate. He hid knowing that Whitley had been infected. The two Whitley's asked for Campbell to surrender. Melinda May then charged in kicking Whitley. Campbell engaged with the other one. May hit the duplicate with the trunk of a pickup truck. Whitley then got up and caught May by surprise. As she was about to kill May, Campbell charged up his lightning and threatened to kill Whitley if they don't tell him where Johnson is. Whitley then killed her duplicate under orders of Hive. As she prepared to shoot at Campbell as well, Phil Coulson shot her.[2]

Phil Coulson shot the duplicate of Alisha Whitley, and the original, who was with Hive and Daisy Johnson, gasped in pain. Hive comforted her and asked if Lincoln Campbell was alive, with Whitley assuring that she was happy to make the sacrifice.
Johnson and Hive visited JT James, activating his Terrigenesisbefore swaying him. James told them about the Kree artifact he buried, and Hive ordered Johnson to retrieve it so they could call the Kree Reapers to Earth.[2]
