In November 2024, Peter Parker, wearing his Iron Spider Armor, went to the Alexander Hamilton Bridge in order to track down a MIT Assistant Vice Chancellor. Eventually, Parker found her and tried to convince her to accept Michelle Jones and Ned Leeds into Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While trying to convince the MIT administrator, a universe-displaced Doctor Octopus attacked the bridge looking for Parker, in the process of destroying the bridge by throwing cars at civilians. When the MIT administrator's car was thrown off the bridge, Parker, Spider-Man barely caught the car before it was hit by a moving train.
Spider-Man fighting Doctor Octopus
Spider-Man engaged in combat with Doctor Octopus, who trapped him against a wall using his tentacles, destroying part of the Iron Spider Armor and absorbing some of the nanites from it. However, Spider-Man managed to use the armor's technology to wirelessly connext with Doctor Octopus' tentacles and gain control of them, and used the tentacles to return the chancellor's car to the top of the bridge. The administrator called Parker a hero and promised to make MIT reconsider his and his friends' applications.

As Parker tried to get more information out of Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin arrived threw a Pumpkin Bomb onto the bridge, causing further damage, and then flew towards Parker and Doctor Octopus on his Goblin Glider. However, before Parker could engage in a fight with Green Goblin, Doctor Strange teleported him and Doctor Octopus to the New York Sanctum, confining the latter in the undercroft with Lizard.[1]
