Gu Goombas are a stronger variant of Goomba in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They are only encountered in Bowser's Keep toward the end of the game.
Battle[]
In battle, Gu Goombas tend to act confused and sometimes attack themselves and others. However, they can use the move Thornet that may Poison one of Mario's party.
Strategy[]
Gu Goombas are rather weak enemies and even the simplest attack should finish them in one hit.
