It appears to be a combination between a Galoomba and a Goombrat; having leaf-like tufts and lacking eyebrows like the latter and the roundness of the former. It behaves like the Galoomba but has a different appearance. It replaces the Goombrat in the Super Mario World style, much like how the Galoomba replaces the Goomba. When the player stomps on the Goombud, it will flip over; the player can pick up the Goombud when it is in this position. It and the Goombo are some of the only "versions of a Goomba" that does not have a 3d model.
