“ | "The internet should be a serious place used for writing research papers and maybe for keeping in touch with relatives once in a while. These silly viral videos are a disease. They must be contained." "Dude, that's not fair." "Yeah, we're just trying to make entertaining videos." "Wrong! All these people need to be punished, forced to live their stupidity on repeat forever." |

~ The Warden of the Internet explaining Mordecai and Rigby what she does to anyone who makes a viral video. |
The Warden of the Internet is the main antagonist of the Regular Show episode "Go Viral".
She is an Internet entity represented by a computer screen with a senior citizen inside that supervises viral videos. However, the Warden hates any silly video so much for "contaminating" the Internet that she summons anyone who films or is part of such videos and traps them into their videos to force them into recreating their "stupidity" for all eternity.
She was voiced by Mitzi McCall.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Heinous?[]
- Imprisons people (of whatever age) who make silly videos into the show's equivalent of YouTube by zapping them into their videos and forcing them to recreate their actions in their respective videos for all eternity.
- Some of her prisoners are people who got hurt while making their videos (for example, an old man with a horsehoe being pulverized by a lightning, an action pig who crashed his car against a cliff or a ninja who gets punched after giving a wedgie to a strong man), so forcing them to relive their actions means she forces them to get hurt or killed constantly and restlessly.
- While her actions could fall into Fridge Horror territory, they don't, as she specifically tells Pops Maellard when she zaps him into his video to say "Doomed for eternity". Even the Wedgie Ninja is shown to be aware of his situation, as he pleads Mordecai and Rigby to save him as he gets repeatedly punched, which means that he's in an And I Must Scream situation.
- Upon realizing that Mordecai and Rigby should be on Pops' video because they filmed it, she tries to zap them too into the video forever.
- After Mordecai and Rigby rescue all her prisoners and Pops, she vengefully decides to go after them to kill them for freeing her prisoners.
- Once all her prisoners escape, she grabs Pops' leg and refuses to let him go, sadistically laughing at doing so, proving that there's some sadism in her actions.
- Her refusal to let Pops go forces the Wedgie Ninja to stay behind and give her a wedgie so Pops, Mordecai and Rigby could escape, resulting in Wedgie Ninja’s death
- While the show's Heinous Standards are high due to having destructive and murderous villains like Anti-Pops, Doom Ma Geddon, Mitsuru Shinehara, Natalia, Future Mr. Ross and the Internet, the Warden of the Internet stands out particularly because she didn't kill anyone, but instead condemned countless individuals to a fate worse than death just because they "contaminated" the Internet with silly videos, which is absolutely cruel for such a petty point of view.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She believes that the Internet is a place for research and to communicate with your relatives/friends, which may mean she considers her extremist actions well-intentioned.
- However, given that kidnapping people and forcing them into the Internet forever would prevent them from seeing their loved ones ever again, it can be said that this comes off as hypocritical.
- Her actions aren't really taken seriously, as only the Wedgie Ninja is shown to be suffering by repeating his video.
- Her defeat is somewhat played for laughs, as the Wedgie Ninja gives her a wedgie to destroy her.
