Kotaff is a General of Daein, and like most Daein generals, is racist towards Laguz, calling them "sub-humans". He is a Halberdier and the boss of Chapter 9 in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. He takes great pride in Daein, hoping to "erase [the] shame" of Daein's early defeats against the Greil Mercenaries.
