As part of the forced lockdown, all visitors and cast members are forced to stay in the resort for isolation until they test negative for COVID-19.
  • November 1 - Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! closed temporarily for refurbishment in Hollywood Land at Disney's California Adventure until it reopened on November 18.

    • With China's government suddenly ending the zero-COVID-19 policy and lifting all COVID-19 restriction, Shanghai Disneyland reopened, but cast members' attendance and openings for some shops, restaurants and shows are limited due to increased COVID-19 cases without any official restrictions.
    • Disney Winter Magic Cavalcade made its debut in Shanghai Disneyland.
  • December 16 - DuckTales World Showcase Adventure was launched on the Play Disney Parks app on Apple and Android devices replacing Agent P's World Showcase Adventure.

  • July 14 - The Disney Wish began its inaugural maiden voyage.
