Deep Water is a 2022 US psychological thriller film directed by Adrian Lyne and written by Zach Helm and Sam Levinson. It is based on the 1957 novel of the same name by Patricia Highsmith. Originally produced under 20th Century Studios, the film was released on Hulu in the US and on Amazon Prime Video internationally on March 18, 2022.

A well-to-do husband who allows his wife to have affairs in order to avoid a divorce becomes a prime suspect in the disappearance of her lovers.

Release[]
Originally scheduled to be released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (under 20th Century Studios) on November 13, 2020, the film was delayed to August 13, 2021, and again to January 14, 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1][2] On December 9, 2021, it was taken off the release date schedule. It was later announced to be releasing on Hulu[3] in the US, and on Amazon Prime Video in international markets, on an unannounced date in 2022. On February 14, 2022, Disney officially released the first poster and trailer, and announced that the film will released on March 18, 2022.
