Description[]
The Coral Cestus is a Fist Light Weapon that requires 50 LHT to use and drops from either the Mudskipper Brute or the Mudskipper Broodlord. It has slightly higher damage, penetration, and scaling than the Flamekeeper Cestus, but has slightly slower swing speed and a different critical.
Critical[]
The user leaps forwards into the air and slams into the ground, creating a large AoE that applies short knockdown.
The Broodalloy Cestus critical has the same animation with a new visual and sound effect. On top of this, the critical now auto executes anyone who's at low hp or already knocked and drains sanity on hit.

Trivia[]
- Meeting the requirement of LHT, the damage is (19 / 26.5)
- At max LHT, the damage is (24 / 28.3)
- Coral Cestus originally had higher stats and a light weapon requirement of 75, the stats and requirements were reduced when it received an alloy.
- The critical did not work with Legion Kata on release, making the special critical exclusive to Way of Navae. This was fixed soon after the weapon was added.
- Each gauntlet has a colored gradient under the "coral" texture, making it the first weapon to have gradient enchant textures. This allows us to see the primary colors associated with each enchant.
- Using Lootskipper or Vow of Thorns to get the Coral Cestus is not recommended, as their rarest drop is actually Martial Artist, lowering the drop rate of these.
- The upper front of the fist resembles a brass knuckle, or a knuckle duster.
- The crit can be easily cancelled, even being able to be countered with a single m1, so it's wise to only use the crit when your enemy is under pressure.
- this is the second weapon to change descriptions when alloyed
