Strategy/Usage[]
Normal Form[]
This form is useless by design. Similarly to the other Cats from Tales of the Nekoluga, this Cat is not meant to be used until it evolves.
Evolved Form[]
Like most other Nekoluga family members, this cat is meant to be used as a support unit. It is pointless to use it by itself; it has somewhat weak attack power and slow attack speed. With some powerful friends backing it up, though, it quickly shows its true value.
Asilan Pasalan is best used on a stage with plentiful fast enemies, such as Bore or Shy Boy. While slowed, the enemies will be unable to get into attacking range, and you can cut them down at your leisure. Its Cat Combo (Long-Legged) is also extremely useful, as when combined with Cyberpunk Cat, they can slow enemies for more than 70% of the time, which is almost at the same level as Mitama the Oracle, except from a far larger distance away.
True Form[]
Assassinlan Pasalan's improved range makes it act like a less stackable version of Cyberpunk Cat. It has long range and similar damage, but lacks a blind spot.
Talents[]
Cost Down is merely a convenience, as this unit has very poor stackability. Due to the small improvement, it's not recommended. Slow and Survive are what can make this unit better, further increasing the similarity with Cyberpunk, who also has these Talents. Survive comes into play when this unit is attacked, allowing for a second chance in the battle, while Slow is a simple, direct improvement.
While Dodge and Health up can allow Assassinlan Pasalan to possibly tank some Wave Attacks or peons that reach him, both abilities do not work well with the unit's low health and long recharge.

Trivia[]
- Prior to Version 4.7, Asiluga was a part of two other Cat Combos: Legend of the Nekoluga and Nekoluganomicon.
- Ironically, his Normal Form has more DPS than his Evolved or True Form.
- Asiluga is the only Luga family member whose Normal Form is faster than both their Evolved and True Form.
- Assassinlan Pasalan has the longest standing range of all Cat Units, with 1,250. However, The 6th Angel and Nerd Cat have the longest effective range of 1,500.
- Similar to the other Nekolugas, its prefix Asi(脚, ashi) is Japanese for the abnormally large feature, in this case its legs.
- Assassinlan Pasalan's name, description and design (most notably the bandages on his arms and bullet holes on his chest) are references to Kenshiro, the main character of the anime Fist of the North Star.
- Asiluga's appearance may be based on Ashinaga, a type of yokai with long legs.
- In The Battle Cats Unite!, it's normal description is reused in Nekoluga's description.
