Eggy Cat is a Rare Cat that was implemented in Version 5.10 and can be unlocked when beating any stage in Spring Sprang Sprung. True Form added in Version 12.2 increases Slow chance to 100%.

Strategy/Usage[]
Eggy Cat lacks any redeeming qualities as a generalist and is mostly ineffective against Angels due to his unreliable slow chance, brief slow duration, short attack range and single-target attacks. At most, he can be used as an inferior replacement to Cat Toaster in some Restriction Stages like Wrath of A-Cyclone. After clearing Into the Future Chapter 3, Sanzo Cat can have his Target Angel Talent unlocked to become a much better alternative, as Sanzo has Area Attack and better stats overall. If no better units are owned, it is advised to at least evolve Eggy Cat into Easter Cat for the extra 100 range.
True Form[]
Easter Egg Cat is now guaranteed to slow Angels. Unfortunately, this improvement is near-completely irrelevant. Short-ranged Angel pushers are extremely aggressive and often appear in dense swarms, not to mention their nasty ranged support like Angelic Sleipnir, leaving this unit still largely defunct with his single target.

Appearance[]
- Normal Form: A Cat face on an Easter Egg. Attacks by ramming into the enemy.
- Evolved Form: Has the same appearance, but attacks by cracking open and revealing an Easter Island statue that attacks by spewing rings from its mouth like the Moai Statue. The cat's expression changes to that of Crazed Cats when attacking.
- True Form: Has the same appearance, but the attack animation now has 3 Easter Island heads, one facing backwards, one forward, and one directly at the screen. In addition to this, all 3 heads are golden. The forward-facing head is the only one to attack.

- Easter Cat's ability to spew energy rings from the Moai inside his body is a reference to how the Moai enemies from the Gradius series attack.
- The three golden Moai inside Easter Egg Cat closely resemble the Totem Moai from Gradius III, even down to how only the forward-facing head attacks.
- The text 「トッオク イゴア コ ネコエッグ３」 from the Japanese True Form description is a sentence in the Rapa Nui language represented in katakana. It translates to "My name is Cat Egg 3".
