Space Cat is a Rare Cat that was added in Version 2.2.3 and can be obtained upon clearing Attack On R-Cyclone. In The Battle Cats POP!, it can be obtained from the Rare Cat Capsule. True Form greatly increases health and improves chances for Critical Hits and Barrier Breaking.

Strategy/Usage[]
At first sight, Space Cat seems like an underwhelming Cat; it has very low health, low attack and a very low chance for a Critical Hit (4%). However, this units' strengths are that it has long range, a relatively fast recharge time and a low cost, meaning you can stack it easily. It's useful when behind meatshields in very large numbers, so it can destroy most Metal enemies quite quickly by outnumbering them.
With its range, it's very helpful in defeating Metal enemies with strong backline attackers where short-ranged Critical Hitters are easily killed, such as in Mysterious Order and Old Guys in the City stages. It can also save a slot in N77 Nebula, where it can take advantage of both its critting and barrier breaking abilities.
True Form[]
Space Marine Cat is a massive improvement over the previous forms, as its usefulness against Metals doubles alongside its Critical chance. In addition, it becomes a more reliable Barrier Breaker and tends to survive longer with better health, further improving its usefulness. However, at this point in the game it is outclassed by Catasaurus, but is still a great secondary Critter and Barrier Breaker, even more so in 4♛ stages.
Space Marine Cat also gains access to a new combo, Warriors of Justice. While it isn't the best combo out there, it makes Holy Blast much more effective, so if you can use it, maybe try bringing it to an especially hard Zombie stage.

Appearance[]
- Normal Form: A floating Cat in an astronaut suit with a ray gun, it's connected to a small toy spaceship.
- Evolved Form: Replaces the astronaut suit with a red helmet with boosters and a horn, he also holds a different ray gun. The toy spaceship from his previous form is replaced by a figurine of a robot resembling a Gundam.
- True Form: Now wears a dark green suit with a built-in arm cannon and a claw of some sort, the suit also has larger boosters and is now connected to an entire small toy space station.

- The stats of this Cat are almost exactly the same as Archer Cat, except that it can do a Critical Attack instead of Massive Damage to Floating enemies.
- Prior to Version 4.7, Major Space Cat was a part of another Cat Combo called Triggermen.
- The Evolved Form is reference a Char Aznable in his pilot suit, as he holds lieutenant rank on the original MS Gundam anime. The red color and horn on the helmet are his distinctive characteristics.
- The True Form might be a reference to Master Chief from the Halo franchise.
