- Instead, the Starting Line was officiated by Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Tourism, Sapta Nirwandar.

Second season that the Race taking place entirely in Asia.
- Coincidentally, this is the first season racing across the Southeast Asia region with half of the legs are in Indonesia.
