The Wolf Clan, also known as the Wolf Mask Army, are the main antagonists of the second season of the Netflix series Ninjago: Dragons Rising.
In the ancient times, dating back centuries prior to the Merge, they are a cult of wolf mask-wearing warriors formed by the Forbidden Five and are dedicated to the group's teachings. They would disband after the Forbidden Five were exiled into the Nether-Space by the Dragon masters. Centuries later, the Wolf Clan would be reassembled as an alliance/military faction by Lord Ras so they could help him fulfill his master's plan of conquering the Merged Realms.

Past[]
Centuries ago, a group of five elemental masters, who would be known as the Forbidden Five, went down a dark path of villainy and destruction. Using their newfound skills in combat and mysticism along with a newly-created language called Theroxian, they developed a forbidden (but powerful) technique called Shatterspin, which is a dark variant of Spinjitzu. As the Forbidden Five were at their apex, in which they battled against other elemental masters and destroyed anyone that stood in their way in their conquest of the Sixteen Realms, they formed a cult of devoted worshippers called the Wolf Clan, who can harness the Five's dark powers through wolf masks, the Mallet and the Gong of Shattering.
After the Forbidden Five were defeated through the combined efforts of Bonzle and the Dragon Masters, who developed a technique called Rising Dragon to counter Shatterspin, the Wolf Clan was disbanded, and all traces of knowledge on the cult and the Forbidden Five, as well as their teachings and existence, were erased from history by Egalt and Rontu, the Dragon Masters. Despite this, knowledge on the two groups were preserved within the archives of the Cloud Kingdom.
Season 2: Part 1[]
The Blood Moon[]
Following the liberation of Imperium and the downfall of Empress Beatrix, Lord Ras, alongside Jordana, uncovered and unlocked the Shadow Dojo in the Wyldness, and they claimed the Gong of Shattering. Seeking to free the Forbidden Five from the Nether-Space during the Ritual of the Blood Moon and conquer the Merged Realms for his master, Ras recruited the elemental master of smoke, Cinder, as a new member of the Wolf Clan. Ras then began training him in the knowledge of Shatterspin, so as to prepare him in harnessing the power once the Gong of Shattering with the Mallet of Shattering. He eventually reassembled the Wolf Clan so they could assist him in his goals. Cinder, alongside some Wolf Mask Warriors, were sent to steal the Mallet of Shattering, which was successful, despite the ninjas' attempt to stop them. With the Mallet and Gong of Shattering now reunited, Ras empowers the Wolf Clan with them and began to put his goals into motion.
Shattered Dreams[]
The Wolf Clan invaded and conquered the Cloud Kingdom and they took the Writers of Destiny hostage.
