“ | Your wish is yours to keep. | „ |
~ Nadakhan's catchphrase when someone makes a wish and also his last words as everything that had happened in the season is undone. |
“ | Actions have consequence. Ninjago will pay for what the ninja have done. This world may have forgotten about us, but when we're through with them, they will know what it feels like to have everything they love stolen from them. | „ |
~ Nadakhan to the Sky Pirates. |
“ | All my life, I've been blessed with the ability to grant wishes for others, but cursed to have none of my own. Though born unto a king, everything that is mine I've had to work for. This food, this ship, this crew. | „ |
~ Nadakhan to Jay. |

Biography[]
Past[]
Nadakhan was an enemy of Captain Soto, who tried to defeat him in a battle at sea. However, Soto used the venom of a Tiger Widow to make sure he doesn't teleport in a "poof", and Soto also managed to lock him inside the Teapot of Tyrahn. After the battle, his love interest Delara died of unknown circumstances.
Skybound[]
Many years after the battle, Clouse freed Nadakhan from the the teapot, as Clouse was on a mission to get revenge on the Ninja, but after using all three wishes, gets trapped in the teapot himself. Nadakhan then frames the Ninja and gets them arrested. However, when returning to his father's palace in Dinjago through the Realm Crystal, his father informs him that Dinjago is a sister realm of the Cursed Realm (The Preeminent) and is collapsing a little while after the Preeminent is destroyed. Then, Nadakhan offers his father an escape through the Realm Crystal, however, his father, Khanjikhan, says he will not abandon his realm, and he commands Nadakhan to avenge him and their kind with Khanjikhan giving Nadakhan the Djinn Blade.
Later on Clancee shows Nadakhan a picture of Nya, whom looks exactly like his old lover, Delara. He then sought to trap all the Ninja in the Djinn Blade and remake Djinjago. Nadakhan then visits Jay and tries to trick him but ultimately fails. Then Nadakhan attacks Ninjago with his crew and this time confronts Kai and takes him into an island. He then tricks Kai into wishing himself away and gets him trapped inside Djinn Blade.
Nadakhan then visits Zane while playing chess and even deletes Pixal from his hard drive. He then traps Zane into the Djinn Blade as well. He at this time when the Ninja when the ninja are getting the Tiger Widow Venom, he kidnaps Jay and takes him into New Djinjago. He tortures Jay and tries anything to get him inside the blade but fails every time. Nadakhan also tells Jay his plan to marrying Nya in order from him to get infinite wishes. At this time the other ninja (Cole, Lloyd and Nya) are rescued by Dareth and his crew.
They make a plan to attack New Djinjago and save Jay. Their plans fail however when they are discovered as fake pirates. They all end up using all of their wishes other than Jay who still has one. Nadakhan then forces Clancee to wish Cole and Lloyd away. Jay and Nya however end up getting away after Lloyd saves them. Clancee then wishes Cole and LLoyd away getting them trapped inside the Djinn Blade as well.
Eventually Nadakhan finds out where Jay and Nya are hiding and kidnaps Nya as Jay escapes. Nadakhan then forces Flintlocke to mop the ship. However, Jay makes a new team of Ninja's and with the help of Nya, Jay gets the Djinn Blade. He goes inside and rescues the rest of the Ninja trapped inside. Later, Nadakhan ends up getting infinite wishes and brings Delara back from the Departed Realm. The Ninja make a plan for Flintlocke, to shoot Nadakhan with the Tiger Widow Venom. Nadakhan thens wishes all the Ninja still other than Jay. Flintlocke takes the shot however Nya is hit was well. In her last words she tells Jay how much she loved him. Jay then uses his final wish to reverse all the events that happened causing Nadakhan to have no memory and still be trapped inside if the Teapot of Tyrahn as Clouse gets chased by locals .
Post-Skybound[]
Due to Jay's final wish, the events of Skybound never happened and Nadakhan wasn't freed by Clouse, but he is referenced a few times in later seasons.
In Sons of Garmadon, the Police Commisioner off-handedly mentions a "pirate genie" at one point. Even if he knew about Nadakhan's existence, he likely didn't remember meeting him unlike Jay and Nya.
In Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu, the Teapot of Tyhran is seen inside Beo-Hernie's stomach when Zane goes inside it, until the beast spits it out.
In Prime Empire, the teapon ends up in Ninjago City and gets picked up by Clutch Powers, who rubs it and makes it release an orange cloud. Whether Nadakhan was released from the teapot by this action is unknown.
In Master of the Mountain, Lloyd at one point wonders if something involving the Teapot of Tyhran had happened.
In Seabound, the teapot is seen at the Explorers' Club, while in Crystalized, Clutch Powers is seen walking through Ninjago City while holding it.
Personality[]
Although not that evil, he is extremely tragic, angered, manipulative, and vengeful, as he is ready to avenge his father with no remorse, and destroy the ninja, thus taking Nya away from them. However, he is not aligned to any true darkness, and he is not quite villainous, unlike his father, and even a bit polite and tragic. Despite leaving his homeworld, he was shown to be very sad when he saw his homeworld in ruins, and hesitantly took the Soul Blade from his father. He is also shown to be very loyal to his men, and was willing to put a great deal of trust in them.
However, as time passed, the thought of infinite wishes and immeasurable power turned him into a power-hungry tyrant, who eventually betrayed his men once he achieved his goal. However, his love for Delara never went away, as one of the first things he wished for was for her to return to him by possessing Nya's body. When she did revive, he was overjoyed to have her back.

Trivia[]
- According to Tommy Andreasen, Nadakhan remembers the events of Skybound and is probably still mad about them.
- Ironically, despite spending much of his screentime attempting to marry Nya, Nadakhan never found out that the Ninja of Water was inadvertently responsible for the destruction of Djinjago (by destroying the Cursed Realm in the previous season).
- He is the first prince in the show.
- Nadakhan was originally planned to return in Crystalized, with him escaping the Teapot of Tyrahn (which made minor appearances in the WildBrain seasons) and join the Council of the Crystal King. However, this was scrapped.
