Nezha is a supporting antagonist in the manga Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Legend - Apocalypse of The Gods, a spin-off of the manga/anime series Record of Ragnarok.
Nezha is a Deity belonging to the Chinese Pantheon. He is also one of the 16 Gods who participate in the Apocalypse Tournament to win the last place in the Gods Fighters of the Ragnarok Tournament and the possibility of creating a new law in the Constitution of Valhalla.
Appearance[]
Nezha is a Humanoid-looking God with short bob hair. He wears what appears to be armor, and he has a headband of clouds that he wears like a scarf as he levitates above his head.
Personality[]
Nezha appears to be a silent type who rarely speaks. He knows how to recognize the strength of his opponents if he sees it with his own eyes. Although he was defeated by Sun Wukong in the past, he doesn't seem to have any resentment towards him.
Biography[]
Nezha is a Deity belonging to the Chinese Pantheon. In the past he clashed with Sun Wukong to take away his freedom, but was defeated by him.
After the proclamation of the Ragnarok Tournament, Nezha participates in the meeting of the Gods' Council in which Zeus announces the Gods Fighters that would fight in the Ragnarok Tournament representing the Gods. When many Gods become angry at the absence of their names, Sun Wukong points out that one name is missing from the list, and it is at that point that Zeus announces the Apocalypse Tournament between 16 Gods to win the last place in the Gods Fighters and the possibility of inserting a new law into the Constitution of Valhalla.
Nezha also participates, and his opponent in the Round of 16 will be Morrígan. While waiting for his match, Nezha witnesses the battle between Cú Chulainn and Ra-Horakhty, which ends with Cú Chulainn's victory. During the match between Sun Wukong and Prometheus, Nezha is amused at the sight of the God who defeated him in the past.
Powers and Abilities[]
Overall Abilities: As a God, Nezha possesses physical abilities far superior to those of any ordinary Human. His body cannot be damaged by mortal weapons, however it can still be damaged by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. For the same reason, Nezha is unable to die due to old age. Nezha is not strong enough to defeat Sun Wukong.
Trivia[]
- Despite being a Chinese God, Nezha is also associated with Buddhism.
- His appearance is very reminiscent of Seto Kaiba, the main rival of Yugi Muto, protagonist of the manga/anime series "Yu-Gi-Oh!".
