Nameless are one of the many enemies that can be found in the Ark: Survival Evolved franchise.
Biography[]
The origin of the Nameless is unknown however they come from a damaged Ark world known as Aberration. The Aberration Ark was once as beautiful as the other Ark worlds and had a lot more life in it. However the Ark some how became unstable and damaged leaking out radiation and releasing the mysterious material known as Element.
The radiation and the element that was released into the damaged Ark killed most of the creatures that I couldn't adapt to the new environment or didn't mutate from the radiation and element. The animals that survived and became mutated created new breeds of creatures that didn't exist on any of the other Ark's. The damaged Ark with the radiation leak became named Aberration.
The Nameless are some of the creatures that have come into existence by adapting to the new environment of Aberration. Rockwell became fascinated with the Nameless and other mutated beasts found in Aberration he wanted to study and experiment on the creatures found in this world to create new lifeforms.
Although the origin of the Nameless is shrouded in mystery it is believed that they were human survivors at one point who were mutated to survive in the world of Aberration. Although the the creatures of Aberration are unnatural and not normal things a part of nature not created by the original guardian that looked after and protected Aberration. Although not normal the mutated animals of Aberration still serve a purpose and keep a balance the Nameless however do not.
Unlike the other creatures of the Aberration Ark the Nameless can't be tamed even though they live in unground caves they dig holes and tunnels to hide in. The Nameless live in darkness and hate light they live in packs and are lead by an Alpha Nameless. Despite being lead by Alpha's the Nameless have a mysterious bound with the Reapers found on Aberration. Because of their mysterious connection to the Reapers the Nameless can summon a Reaper or a Reaper can summon them.
Even though the Nameless don't provide a normal balance for nature or the Aberration and are untamable. Nameless vemon can be used to raise a baby Rock Drake and the Nameless can help to find a Reaper Queen if survivors are looking to tame a Reaper.
Even though Helena has written her own notes and dossier on the Nameless they are still a complete mystery to her and the other survivors that have encountered them.
