The Lava Elemental is one of the enemies encountered in ARK Survival Evolved, exclusive to Ragnarok.
Biography[]
Not much is known about the Lava Elemental but it looks similar to a Rock Elemental but is larger and stronger and is mostly black with red markings on it, which has the ability to throw magma rocks that can set players and tames on fire. It resides in the Lava Elemental Arena in the Jungle Cave, located on Ragnarok. The arena is a circular room with lava at the center of the arena. The survivor can enter the cave and if they make it to the arena then they can fight the Lava Elemental for loot crates and gear. Unlike the Iceworm Queen and the Spirit Dire Bear and Direwolf, this boss is not required to fight for the artifact.
Recommended gear to bring to the fight would be a rocket launcher, bring a lot because the Lava Elemental has around 60,000 Health Points. A Velonasaur with good stats can be brought via a cryopod to fight it with. Both a TEK Rifle and a TEK Shield are also viable options, and since the TEK Shield can deflect projectiles it can also deflect the lava rocks and burn the Lava Elemental. Use this to your advantage.
