Mechanical Creatures are a few of many different enemies that survivors encounter in the Ark: Survival Evolved franchise.
Biography[]
Mechanical Creatures are as there names suggest mechanical AI lifeforms they were created to protect the Overseers and to test the skills of the survivors.
However not all the Mechanical Creatures were created to protect the Overseer some were created to act like wildlife and to be tamed by the survivors who manage to collect the blueprints of the mechanical beasts. Being mechanical AI's the Mechanical Creatures can't consume food that normal living creatures eat instead they have to consume element dust as an energy source.
Like everything else that exists in the Ark worlds created by the Overseers the Mechanical Creatures have a role and purpose helping to keep a stable balance in the Ark worlds even if the Mechanical Creatures aren't natural lifeforms like the creatures that are made out of flesh and blood.
